TruPanion Pet Insurance – Insurance is one of those nebulous things we don’t want to spend money on but at the same time, should have if for no other reason than peace of mind. I am recommending this company because we had such a good and transparent experience with them over a decade with them covering our European Doberman, Rhett. You select your plan and price. Both the coverage plans and the deductibles are simple to understand, they settle payments promptly and actually called to see how our boy was doing after his bloat surgery! ♥♥♥ We now have Trupanion for our girl, Artemis Lilith.

We are recommending him because he does understand that pet parents can make their own choices, clearly loves animals, is an exceptionally skilled surgeon and doesn’t ‘eye roll’ when you explain you are raw feeding or doing a TCM heartworm prevention for your dog etc. Also, his office visit is $35 . Animal Medical Clinic – Dr. Ernesto Hernandez – This is an allopathic veterinary clinic all the way. That stated, it was clear he had the animals’ best interest in mind, and although he was squarely in his wheelhouse, we got no eyerolls, as I explained what I do and that the HW prevention our girl is on is actually an Asian herbal not western med pesticide. If he did not understand something, he would ask and consider what you said, and reply with what he knew. We will be back.
